I’m a Registered Social Worker and Therapist working in Toronto. I have a great deal of empathy for anyone struggling with OCD because I, like so many others, have faced that struggle myself. Being tormented by excessive thoughts that go against one’s personal values and attempting to stop, control or neutralize these thoughts with compulsive behaviours or mental rituals is the cycle of OCD.
